For the newly in charge
Therapy for men new to leadership
Stepping into leadership changes things. Suddenly people look to you for answers, the problems that reach you are the ones no one else could solve, and the support you used to have, peers, a boss who had your back, thins out. You are expected to project confidence you may not always feel, and there is often no one safe to admit that to.
The transition can be genuinely disorienting: imposter feelings, the loneliness of being the one in charge, the pressure to have it together for everyone else while you are still figuring it out yourself. That is normal, and it is rarely talked about.
I work with men navigating new or growing leadership, a place to think out loud, steady yourself, and grow into the role without pretending you have it all figured out. Before I trained as a therapist I spent years in senior leadership, so this ground is familiar.
If that sounds useful, the first step is a free 15-minute call.
Fifteen minutes, private, no obligation.
This is one part of my work with men under pressure. Related reading: when you are what you do.
