For men in the markets

Therapy for men in finance

Finance rewards the ability to stay composed under pressure, to absorb risk, to keep performing when the stakes are high. You are good at it, which is exactly why the cost of it can stay invisible for a long time. The hours, the numbers, the constant scoreboard, the culture that treats needing help as a weakness to be hidden.

A lot of men in finance are doing well on paper and quietly running on empty, wired, sleeping badly, short with the people at home, wondering when the number will ever be enough. It rarely announces itself as a breakdown. It shows up as depletion, irritability, or a flat sense that the win does not land the way it used to.

I spent years in finance before I trained as a therapist, so I understand the environment, the pressure, the culture, the reasons men in it do not talk about this. Working with me is confidential and entirely outside your professional world.

If any of this is familiar, the first step is a free 15-minute call. No pressure, and nothing you have to have figured out first.

Fifteen minutes, private, no obligation.

This is one part of my work with men under pressure. Related reading: when you are what you do and high-functioning and running on empty.
