For Jewish men

Family and community expectations

Family and community can be among the deepest sources of belonging, and among the heaviest sources of pressure, often at the same time. Some of the Jewish men I work with are carrying expectations about career, marriage, observance, or the kind of life they are supposed to be building, sometimes stated outright, more often just in the air.

Wanting something different, or simply feeling the weight of it, does not make you ungrateful or disloyal. It makes you someone worth having an honest conversation with. You can read more about therapy for Jewish men, online across Ontario, or book a free 15-minute call.
